Nathan Cubitt (16) is currently in Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, where he is currently being treated for a spinal injury sustained in a collapsed scrum during a rugby match for Keighley RUFC Under 17's.
While his injury was sustained on November 6, 2011, in catastrophic cases of this sort these are still very early days and it is too soon to form a reliable prognosis on what improvements Nathan can achieve in the coming months.
The fact that he remains in cheerful and positive is a testament to his spirit and resolve, which will ensure that he achieves the best outcomes available in the months ahead.
While friends from Keighley, neighbouring clubs and others from outside the Rugby Union community have been busy with fund-raising efforts, club officials have been active in creating a Trust Fund to help cater for the future needs of Nathan and his family going forward.
This website has been set up by the Trust to make donating to Nathan's trust easier, Please help Nathan please DONATE.
